Last summer, I spent a few days in Oregon traveling along the coast and capturing incredibly styled shoots and the sweetest couples! After a day spent at Cape Kiwanda, we headed North to Ecola State Park.
This was my first time at Ecola State Park, and I instantly fell in love. The endless coastline views and the rocky shore were captivating, especially since it’s right against a forest covered in pine trees. The mix of dark greenery, soft sand, and ocean blues created a beautiful backdrop filled with color and texture.
We started at a Cabin for this shoot and took portraits along the park edge. Nestled in the woods, with miles of coastal views, our cabin was the perfect spot for the couple to get ready. Natyr wore one of the most incredible gowns I’ve ever photographed! Inspired by the Moroccan sunlight, the Media gown by Rue De Seine was a perfect choice. The embroidered lace had a soft shimmer, while the flared sleeves and fringe created a cape-like bodice. Fried flowers were added to her curls for a bohemian vibe. Her partner, Chris, wore a casual suit with an open collar and hand-tied boutonniere.
Noble Floral Co. created an effortlessly romantic bouquet filled with large garden roses, ranunculus, white Gerber daisies, and dried baby’s breath. Sometimes, all you need is a gorgeous backdrop, a couple in love, and some incredible flowers to create an enchanting elopement! We focused on the authentic love and happiness between the couple and let them soak in all the gorgeous sunlight. It was an intimate experience and one that I am so glad I could photograph!
Wedding photography is all about documenting this moment of happiness and pure joy that you can cherish for the rest of your lives! I love to travel, so I would love to be there whether you are getting married here in Indianapolis or across the country along the Oregon Coast! Let me know where you are dreaming of, and I’ll pack my bags. Just reach out today, and let’s get planning!
