I had such an incredible time capturing Bryce and Andrew’s wedding at Indiana University Bloomington. They are such a great couple, and as a wedding photographer, I loved being able to share in even a small part of their love story. The couple met when a mutual friend introduced them while they were attending IU. Bryce & Andrew have been together for 7 years now and it was so great to see them take the next step in their journey as they tied the knot together. They have moved a lot over the years since graduating from school and have currently settled in Bloomington. Andrew is in graduate school, so moving to Bloomington made the most sense for them as a couple.

Outdoor wedding ceremony at the Rose Well House

On the morning of the wedding, Bryce was busy getting her hair and makeup done surrounded by family and friends. She wore a stunning satin sheath gown with flutter sleeves by BHLDN that looked absolutely gorgeous on her. After both the bride and groom got ready, it was time for their ceremony which took place at the Rose Well House. It was a beautiful outdoor ceremony with so much love from family and friends.

After the ceremony, I pulled the bride and groom away for some beautiful couples portraits around the campus. There were so many great locations for us to choose from. The architecture around the university provided such perfect backdrops for the beautiful couple.

Wedding reception at Indiana University Alumni Hall

After photos, it was time to party! The reception space was decorated beautifully with flowers from Pomp & Bloom. After Bryce and Andrew made their grand entrance, they followed it up with their parents’ dances and speeches. Once dinner was over, it was time to dance the night away. The dance floor was packed all night. Bryce even surprised her guests with a fun outfit change. She switched into an adorable vintage party dress that was covered in white sequins and a feathered bottom which was perfect for dancing! It was truly a day to remember from start to finish!

Working with a wedding photographer

Before the wedding, I had met the couple to chat more about what they were hoping for in terms of photography. The two of them let me know that photography on their wedding day was very important to them. They really wanted to make sure that I was capturing all of their special moments throughout the day. They didn’t want to have to worry about anything and wanted to really be able to focus on enjoying themselves and celebrating with their friends and family. I was able to set their mind at ease since this is my specialty and what I love doing for my couples!

Throughout the wedding, I always ensure that I am always capturing as much of their wedding day as possible. I have a detailed shot list that allows me to make sure I am not missing a moment! My job is always to make sure that I document all the magic throughout my couple’s wedding day while also allowing them to enjoy their celebration to the fullest. And I am happy to report that’s exactly what happened for these two!
