Ashley and Hayden’s wedding at The Garment Factory was so much fun to capture on camera! These two are self-proclaimed show-streaming lovers. They spend a lot of time snuggled up with their pets, watching all the best shows. And they spend most of their summers at their family lake house on Lake Lemon, enjoying the gorgeous Midwest summers. Hayden spends most of the fall and winter months hunting with their pup, Rip, while Ashley stays snuggled up with the cat inside.
When it came time for their big day, they wanted their wedding to be focused on their love for their family and friends! And while their pets couldn’t be there on the day of, they were still included in the decor. Their table numbers featured pictures of their pets, while their reception crossword had a few clues around them!
Both Ashley and Hayden got ready with their family and friends and had us photograph it. As a wedding photographer, I love capturing these getting-ready photos because these are the moments that are often forgotten. However, spending this time getting ready with your family before walking down the aisle is such a special time and should be documented. When creating your timeline, we will make sure to include the moments that matter the most to you!
After everyone was ready, it was time for the ceremony. Their ceremony took place at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church. It was such a beautiful church, and their love for each other filled the whole room. They were pronounced husband and wife in front of their family and friends, and it was absolutely perfect!
Afterward, it was time to grab a few more photos. First, we did a fun photoshoot with the entire bridal party. The bridesmaids wore matching blush pink gowns. This really added to their timeless aesthetic throughout their wedding. Then we did a few photos with the groomsmen as well, who wore grey suits with matching pink blush ties. Everyone was really looking their best for this wedding!
After that, the bride, groom, and I took tons of beautiful wedding portraits. We took a few up-close photos of Ashley’s bouquet, with its timeless blush and ivory flowers with plenty of greenery. These portraits came out beautifully, and you can really see the love these two share for each other.
After the photos, it was time for their wedding reception. The reception took place at The Garment Factory, which is such a fun and unique venue. Built in the 1920s, it was historically restored in 2016 to keep the original details but add modern amenities. The mix of timber beams and industrial windows offers a great canvas for any wedding style. It really was perfect for their wedding and their decor looked amazing in the space! After the first dances and speeches, it was time to get the party started! Everyone danced the night away and had such an incredible time. I was so grateful to be able to be part of their celebration!
