Ben and Jennifer’s summer wedding at The White Silo Barn was an absolute blast to shoot! The couple met in high school on a Campus Life Spring Break Trip in Florida in 2002. Ben was a senior, and Jennifer was a freshman, and their paths never really crossed until that trip. Jennifer asked him to teach her how to boogie board on the beach during our trip. She just had to find a way to talk to him and that was the beginning of their love story!
The couple was on and off for 16 years of their life but they always found their way back to each other. They bought a little piece of land that they love to call home just 4 weeks ago. They also have two little babies: a 12-year-old quaker parrot named Lucky and a 4-year-old toy poodle named Zoey (or referred to as “bug” since she’s just a tiny little thing).
For their wedding day, Ben and Jennifer were looking forward to having fun with their friends and family! After all the hard work that went into planning the wedding, they were so ready to see their vision come to life. Not to mention there was all the back and forth with Covid struggles. So, finally being able to see their friends and family and celebrate with them was the highlight of their big day.
They really did know how to throw an amazing party. The dance floor was packed, and they had the best time dancing the night away with all of their guests who made the sacrifice to be there to celebrate their love story with them.
I know how much heart and soul goes into planning your wedding day. I also know that the day can fly by in a blink of an eye, and you definitely want a way to remember all of those special moments. That is why I absolutely love shooting weddings and capturing those memories. I love being able to be part of my couples’ most important day and photographing all of their most heartfelt moments. If you are planning a wedding in Indiana, I would love to have the opportunity to work together. Send me a message and tell me all about your upcoming big day!
