This vibrant garden party wedding inspiration was the perfect ode to spring! I was honored to participate in this styled shoot at Mustard Seed Gardens in Noblesville. Hosts Captivating Events and Lyndsey Joy Photography put together the most talented team of Indy wedding vendors to bring their vision to life! From the gorgeous backdrop of the historic venue to the colorful florals, it was so fun to capture every detail.
Garden-Inspired Wedding Flowers
Colorful flowers laid the groundwork for this styled shoot inspired by the abundance of spring. June Daisy Co. worked with a bold palette of juicy reds and oranges, vibrant purples, and soft aquamarine to create the bride’s bouquet and garden party centerpieces. A richly colored centerpiece filled with roses, ranunculus, dahlias, and stems of lush delphinium graced the tablescape. Meanwhile, scattered bud vases exuded whimsy. As a unique finishing touch, a suspended floral garland added height to the design.
Luxe Floral Rentals provided the deconstructed floral archway to adorn the outdoor fireplace. Geometric gold pillars were the foundation for the design, with a wrap-around garland of white and peach flowers interspersed with greenery. The flowers looked so soft and lush you would never have guessed they were faux! I loved this alternative inspiration for brides who prefer a more subdued spring wedding palette.
Flowers even made their way into the champagne tower featured in the first portion of the shoot. A different colorful blossom floated atop each glass as the bride and groom poured. It was picture-perfect, and I would love to see couples incorporating this idea into their special day. Just be sure to remove the flower before taking a sip!
Bridal Session at Mustard Seed Gardens
The shoot concluded with an intimate bridal session in the getting-ready suite at Mustard Seed Gardens. The bride wore a luxe pair of silk pajamas topped with a flowing sheer robe and looked stunning! This space is perfect for getting-ready photos, with stylish décor and natural light pouring through the windows. The bride slipped into a fit-and-flare bridal gown with a plunging v-neckline, lace overlay, and straps topped with frothy tulle bows. Then, we finished our session in front of the beautiful outdoor fireplace.
I’m so thankful I had the opportunity to participate in this styled shoot! Every vendor truly brought their A-game to create a stunning setting to inspire a colorful spring garden wedding. Mustard Seed Gardens was the perfect venue, and I can’t wait to shoot there again. For more spring wedding inspiration, check out Rose and Kelby’s real-life wedding day at The Wilds.
