Colorful Wedding at The Wilds

I was honored to photograph Rose and Kelby’s colorful spring wedding at The Wilds in Bloomington! This sweet couple met while attending Oberlin College after being introduced by their roommates. They quickly bonded over a love of the outdoors and doing anything active. In addition, both were college athletes!

One of my 2021 brides referred Rose and Kelby to me and was also one of Rose’s bridesmaids. It was so fun to see one of my past clients! I appreciate word-of-mouth referrals greatly. Not only do they help my business grow, but they also assure me that I provided past couples with a first-rate experience.

Colorful Spring Wedding Flowers

Rose and Kelby wanted their wedding day to be full of color. So, they hired For the Beauty Floral to fill their venue with floral elements in a bold palette of hot pink, blush, and royal purple. The arrangements were lush and organic, reflecting the couple’s love of the outdoors. Classic wedding blooms like peonies and roses joined wildflower-inspired elements like feverfew daises and ivy for a unique look. 

Having a stress-free wedding day was also important to Rose and Kelby. They knew they wanted to hire a planner to ensure they could enjoy themselves and not worry about the tiny details. Bloomington-based planner Weddings in Bloom executed their vision perfectly! The couple had peace of mind on their big day, knowing that every element was coming together behind the scenes. 

Wedding at The Wilds

Close friends and family members surrounded Rose and Kelby all day to celebrate their marriage! The couple exchanged vows in an outdoor ceremony underneath a colorful floral arbor. Then, after posing for portraits on The Wilds’ beautiful grounds, they made their grand entrance into the barn for their reception. It was a night to remember! There was a packed dance floor for hours, thanks to Complete Weddings + Events, and the couple partied the night away with their favorite people.
