Recently, my friend Kate and I did a styled shoot at a new downtown Indianapolis venue called Ivory Foundry. It used to be an old grocery story, and the owner, Beth Waterman, opened it in the midst of the pandemic. Beth was welcoming and happy to hear that we wanted to do a styled shoot there. It turned out to be an amazing photoshoot.
Ivory Foundry is an all-inclusive venue that lets you bring in your own vendors. You can customize your wedding and include those details that are important to you.
This is such a great new venue, and they really allow you show your personality. Whether you’re planning a big wedding or a micro wedding, their space can work for you. There’s even separate ceremony and reception spaces, so you don’t have to flip the room. That can make your wedding day so much easier!
For our styled shoot, we wanted to highlight the details and the space. There was a gorgeous cigar bar, and a flower background made for a great backdrop. Not to mention, this was an opportunity for our amazing vendors to shine. LutikHome made a gorgeous pampas bouquet that worked perfectly with the dress from Sophia’s Bridal and Tux.
One of the cutest details is that each guest had a hand-made seat name, so they could take it home as a gift. They came out beautiful and are a perfect example of a favor that a guest would actually like and use.
Styled shoots are a great way to collaborate with other vendors and have some fun. We’re so glad that Ivory Foundry let us do a photoshoot in their space, and we were able to create such amazing photos.
As fun as it was, real weddings are even better. I love capturing those spontaneous moments of love, and it would be so great to work with you. I can’t wait to hear from you!
