Downtown Chicago Wedding at the Four Seasons Hotel

Real Weddings

A rainy day in Chicago set the stage for Bridget and Andy’s sophisticated downtown wedding at the Four Seasons Hotel! As a wedding photographer, I always feel honored when I get to photograph multiple events in the same family. I was Bridget’s sister’s wedding photographer in 2022, so I was thrilled when Bridget and Andy also inquired!

The couple met through a mutual friend at a birthday party in 2016. Sparks flew, and they started officially dating in 2017! Now, they share two French bulldogs and explore the Chicago food scene in their free time. They also love to cook up delicious concoctions for each other at home! Andy loves to cook, and Bridget is a talented baker.

Wedding at the Four Seasons Hotel

The day began with the couple getting ready at the Four Seasons Hotel. Andy played cards with his groomsmen while Bridget shared a sweet first look with her bridesmaids! She also did a heartfelt reveal with her dad before it was finally Andy’s turn to see his beautiful bride. The couple enjoyed a private moment surrounded by panoramic city views outside the hotel windows. Then, it was off to St. James Chapel for their Catholic ceremony!

Later, the couple and their guests returned to the hotel to celebrate in style inside the Grand Ballroom. The space truly lived up to its name, thanks to the talents of the Stunning and Brilliant Events team! They created an elegant atmosphere with a classic dusty blue and white color scheme and elevated floral arrangements by HMR Designs. Meanwhile, the couple’s live band, Blue Water Kings, provided high-energy entertainment that kept everyone on the dance floor late into the night!

Bridal Party Portraits at Union Station

Initially, we had plans to travel to Bridget and Andy’s favorite spots around the city for their bridal party portraits. However, the rain complicated things! We had to think quickly to identify somewhere we could hang out and take all the photos. Eventually, we ended up at Union Station! Not only is it an iconic Chicago landmark, but it was also perfect for taking a mixture of indoor and outdoor photos. Bridget and Andy rented a vintage trolley to get there, which also made a fun photo backdrop!

I’m so glad I could photograph Bridget and Andy’s wedding at the Four Seasons Hotel! Getting to know them better and capturing their love story was a pleasure. Do you need a photographer for your Chicago wedding? I would love to connect with you and hear more about your vision!
