Andie and Dane’s wedding at Harbour Trees Golf and Beach Club made the most of Indiana’s beautiful summer weather. They exchanged vows in an outdoor ceremony overlooking the Morse Reservoir, followed by cocktail hour. Then, they hosted their reception inside, surrounded by the Golf Club’s elegant ambiance. I had the privilege of documenting it all!
Andie is a pediatric speech therapist, and Dane is a UPS driver who also DJs on the weekends. They love staying active with activities like hiking, paddleboarding, and ultimate frisbee. However, they also like to relax together and play video games! They met at a bar where Dane was DJing, and Andie was attracted to him immediately. Although they added each other on social media, it wasn’t until a few months later that they finally started talking (when Dane worked up the courage to message Andie!).
Summer Wedding Color Palette
Andie and Dane chose a palette of vibrant and cheerful colors for their summer wedding. Andie’s bridesmaids wore light pink floor-length gowns, while Dane and his groomsmen wore matching pink ties with black tuxes. Meanwhile, Andie and her bridesmaids carried colorful bouquets. Oberer’s Flowers created beautiful arrangements inspired by the season, featuring purple dahlias, peach ranunculus, and ivory roses with blue delphinium accents.
Harbour Trees Golf and Beach Club Reception
Andie and Dane’s reception featured several unique details. Their seating chart showcased calligraphy by Audrey Bruce and copper wax seals with a botanical design. The blue background matched perfectly with the flowers in Andie’s bouquet, which their florist repurposed on their sweetheart table. Hand-lettered “Mr.” and “Mrs.” chalk signs in gold frames also featured on the table with vintage candlesticks and greenery.
The couple’s wedding cake from Two Sons Cakery was truly one-of-a-kind! The three-tier treat featured a floating design that made it look like a cluster of flowers was supporting the top layer. The ivory, blue, and peach-colored blossoms tied the color palette into the design. Additionally, the two bottom tiers featured pink marbling on the white fondant.
I’m so glad I could capture Andie and Dane’s wedding day at Harbour Trees Golf and Beach Club! They share such a sweet bond, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds. Are you planning an Indiana wedding? I would love to hear your vision and share more about my services. Get in touch today!
