Engagement Session in New Harmony
The historic town of New Harmony is the perfect location for a Southern Indiana engagement session! Situated on the Wabash River with picturesque, walkable downtown streets, there are endless opportunities for portraits. The historic red-brick buildings also make a wonderful backdrop. Couples with a classic, romantic vibe will love this adorable small town!
New Harmony is also a fantastic destination for visitors to southern Indiana. Art galleries, museum exhibitions, and unique shopping and dining opportunities await in the quaint downtown. Meanwhile, history buffs can enjoy guided tours of New Harmony’s historic properties. Year-round cultural experiences are another feature of New Harmony, from the professional summer theatre to the winter concert series. And, for outdoor enthusiasts, there’s Harmonie State Park just south of town.
Holly and Blake’s engagement session began by the Wabash River, where the romantic bridge and serene water set the stage for telling their love story. Then, we explored a downtown park, strolling through the picturesque garden pathways. At the end of their session, I spontaneously rented a golf cart to take photos of them in it! Those images became some of my favorites from the session—they clearly show how happy Holly and Blake are together.
