Fall Wedding at Harry Cooler Conference Center

Real Weddings

Maya and Dillon met in high school and formed a friendship that blossomed into something more during their sophomore year of college. Both work in downtown Indianapolis, where Maya works as a graphic designer and Dillon is in the hospitality field. They share passions for soccer and hiking! I had so much fun getting to know them as the photographer for their wedding at Harry Cooler Conference Center.

Fall Wedding Photography

The couple’s wedding day began at their place of worship, St. Susanna Catholic Church in Plainfield, where Maya plays piano for Sunday services. The church is stunning, and I had a great experience shooting there! The couple exchanged their vows in a traditional Mass surrounded by their closest family and friends. Dillon wore a gray suit with a simple black necktie, while Maya stunned everyone in the BHLDN Samaire Gown from Nancy’s Bridal Boutique. The off-the-shoulder style was so romantic, with trailing floral lace details on the tulle skirt.

Then we headed to their reception venue, the Harry Cooler Conference Center, for portraits! The leaves peak in mid-October around here, so these photos have the most stunning golden glow. We explored the venue and the surrounding woods. Maya and Dillon strolled through the trees together like something out of a fairytale, and my job couldn’t have been easier! Between the gorgeous setting and the bride’s flowing, romantic gown, it really was magical.

Reception at Harry Cooler Conference Center

Have I mentioned that I love this venue? With mid-century modern architecture and space to celebrate indoors and outdoors, it has timeless appeal for any couple. Maya and Dillon hosted their reception on the outdoor patio, where their guests could enjoy appetizers and catch up in the warm October sun. Meanwhile, inside the venue, a delicious cake from Blueberry Lane Bakery awaited them. I loved the personalized topper that announced “The Mitchells” and their wedding date!

Speaking of personalized details, this wedding had so many! In addition to their cake topper, Maya and Dillon rented a neon sign with their last name for their card table display. Even their cocktail napkins were custom-made with their name and wedding date! These details were such a sweet way to emphasize their new union as husband and wife.

I felt so honored to document this Harry Cooler Conference Center wedding. Are you planning to tie the knot in Indianapolis this year? I would love to capture your big day! Tell me a bit about your vision, and we can chat about how to work together!
