Katie and Eric’s wedding at Pine Knob Carriage House was beautiful from start to finish. The two of them met each other on Hinge, but quickly bonded over their shared home state of Michigan. They actually grew up 30 minutes from each other their entire lives! They even went to Michigan State for a few years together but didn’t meet until they were in Indianapolis. Always funny how these things work out!
Eric and Katie love spending time with their two dogs and exploring the city of Indianapolis. They both enjoy trying new restaurants and different beers around the city. Traveling to new cities is also a passion of theirs as well. They are both healthcare workers and dedicate a lot of their time to their patients and work. Their dog, Wrigley, even made a special appearance at their wedding, which made it even more special!
Wedding Day First Looks
When it was officially time for them to tie the knot and become husband and wife, they chose to have their wedding at Pine Knob Carriage House. This was the perfect backdrop for their big day! Katie and her dad did a special first look together. I always love when dads want to do a first look with the bride. This is such a beautiful memory for them to share.
After dad’s first look, it was time for Eric and Katie’s first look together! As a wedding photographer, I always recommend that my couples do a first look. This is such a great time to share a special moment together and get all the wedding day jitters out before walking down the aisle. This is also a great opportunity for us to capture some great bride and groom portraits so the couples can enjoy their wedding reception more by getting photos done beforehand.
Wedding At Pine Knob Carriage House
After first looks and photos, it was time for the wedding ceremony to begin. The Pine Knob Carriage House was a great location and was filled with love from their family and friends. During their ceremony, they filled a special keg that they will enjoy after years of marriage. Such a fun idea that was personal to them!
After the ceremony was over and sealed with a kiss, the reception began. It was such a fun party from start to finish. I especially loved their dessert and cake table which had so many yummy options! Eric and Katie danced the night away with their guests, and I am sure it was a night they will never forget!
Weddings like these are always so much fun for me to be a part of! I love getting to connect with such amazing couples and share such a special day with them.
