Dillon and Asiajuana’s rooftop wedding at The Graduate was such a beautiful celebration. They are very happy, open-minded, and kind people. They love a good adventure and taking care of their almost 2-year-old together. Their favorite things to do are go to the park, watch Netflix, and try out new things together. They met at Bloomington High School South. They didn’t date in high school but reconnected soon after, and the rest is history!
Wedding at The Graduate
For the wedding, they got ready separately in the Graduate hotel rooms & suites. Their ceremony and reception took place on the Jack & Diane Terrace of The Graduate hotel, which overlooks downtown Bloomington. It was such a beautiful day, and the rooftop was such a gorgeous backdrop for their ceremony and reception, which they shared with friends and family. One of the best moments was when Asiajuana walked down the aisle, and Dillon saw his bride. The look on his face was just filled with so much love!
After they sealed their vows with a kiss, their guests sent them off with a bubble exit! They finished the night with a beautiful reception, including dinner and dancing. There were even some fun festivities during the cake cutting, which I always love capturing on camera!
While Asiajuana wore a stunning beaded tulle ballgown for the ceremony, she wanted to dance the night away. So she changed into a cute little white dress which was so fun! It let her really enjoy the evening without having to bustle her gown.
Wedding photography highlights
When it came to photography, the couple really wanted to make sure I captured the love they share with each other, along with all of the highlights from their big celebration! They wanted plenty of ceremony photos, which turned out beautifully with the lovely rooftop setting! They also wanted to focus on capturing all the beautiful moments shared with friends and family.
When they met me they weren’t sure if I was available because it was a last-minute decision to book a photographer. Luckily, I was available, and I am so grateful I got to capture such a beautiful love story and work with such a wonderful couple!
