Ashley & Josh’s wedding at St. Luke Catholic Church was a beautiful celebration of their love story. The couple met on Bumble and have been together for 3 years now. For work, Ashley is a social worker, and Josh is a website builder known as the “computer guy.” Another member of their family is Honey, their lovely 3-year-old mutt, who means the world to them.
On their wedding day, Ashley got ready with her mom and bridesmaids. I love capturing the first look moment with the bride and her bridesmaids. It is always such a fun moment to see the look on all of her bridesmaids’ faces as they see how gorgeous the bride looks in her wedding gown!
The wedding day color palette was shades of blue, from dusty blue to dark navy. Their invitations featured blue with a watercolor floral design. Ashley added something blue with both her blue lace garter and her father’s charm on her bridal bouquet. In order to keep her bouquet forever, Ashley chose to have sola wood flowers as her bouquet. These wooden flowers can be dyed in any color, including shades of blue. Sola wood flowers can be a great option for couples who want to display their flowers after the wedding.
Wedding at St. Luke Catholic Church
They had their ceremony at a beautiful catholic church, St. Luke Catholic Church. The church was stunning and allowed so many gorgeous photos of the bride and groom’s traditional wedding ceremony. The church was also a great backdrop for family photos at the altar and fun photos outside with the bridal party! I love to see the different venues my couple chose.
Wedding reception at Bash
The reception was held at Bash, a modern and airy venue. Bash allows you to rent the space for 24 hours, allowing you to decorate the space before the celebrations. The venue allows couples to bring their own vendors, which really allows them to be creative and hire the best team of vendors to bring their vision to life. Bash is a gorgeous all-white open space that lets you decorate in any palette or style! The cafe lights strung from the ceiling add a soft glow to the evening. The couple chose to add some warmth to the venue with wooden farm tables as their head table. Their reception was an absolute blast, filled with great music, dancing, and even glowsticks at the end to really keep the party going!
If you are planning a wedding and looking for someone to capture all the magic from your big day, be sure to drop me a note! I would love to hear your vision for your wedding and chat about how we can work together to bring it to life on camera.
