Missy & John’s New Year’s Eve wedding at Canal 337 was so much fun to be part of! The couple met on Match.com. They were both married before so trusting someone and loving again was a risk. However, they found each other, and never looked back! Throughout the day, you could really feel the love they had for one another. Their children were also a huge support system for the two of them and were a beautiful family together. It was such a love story to witness and it was an honor to be part of their big day.
They chose to get married on New Year’s eve because they wanted to share their love for one another with friends and family at the start of a new year. They did a first look, and it was such a special moment to capture on camera. You could see the love they shared exchanged at that moment! Those photos are ones that I know they will cherish for years to come. Another one of my favorite moments was when Missy walked down the aisle, with her parents on each side. There really wasn’t a dry eye in the room!
Wedding at Canal 337
Canal 337 sits on the north end of the downtown canal in Indianapolis. The venue provides two floors, a terrace, and a balcony. The space allows couples to have an indoor ceremony for rainy and colder months just like Missy and John’s. The couple did a beautiful ceremony and then proceeded to their reception which was a blast! Their New Year’s Eve decor really set the mood for a fun night. They chose dark farm tables mixed with rounds, for a cocktail party feel.
And a New Years’ wedding isn’t complete without some metallic touches! They had brushed gold accents throughout, from their modern chairs, to candle holders. The focal point was their incredible cake! Instead of a table, it hung from the ceiling on top of a crystal chandelier. It was such a unique way to display cake!
The event really was a party. Everyone was out on the dance floor having a great time, celebrating the new year and the new couple! Are you planning a wedding soon?
