Senior photo sessions are always so enjoyable! In the past year, I’ve gotten to do a bunch of Bloomington, Indiana senior sessions. I loved working with all of these seniors. They were so fun and easy-going. Not to mention, they were open to new ideas when it came to their photos. The result was some amazing photos of some amazing people.
Bloomington, Indiana Senior Sessions
Before their sessions, I asked all the seniors what their ideas were and what they wanted to do with their portraits. I learned so much about them along the way too!
Madison
I’ve known Madison since she was in kindergarten. She has a love for ice cream, which is why we did some portraits at a local ice cream store call Hartzell’s. She was a 2020 senior at Bloomington High School North.
Caitlin, Lauren C., & Lauren A.
These long-time friends did their senior portraits at an old industrial building that has been revamped. Woolery Mill is now a local wedding and event location. Caitlin and Lauren A. were long-time gymnasts and friends who competed in the same local gymnastics club. Meanwhile, the three of them competed with the swim and dive team all throughout high school.
Christian
Christian is such an easy-going guy and open to doing anything. He did his portraits at Indiana University Bloomington. He’s a long-time swimmer for both a local swim club and his high school, Bloomington High School South.
Lucia
Lucia is super musically talented. She loves theater and reading, so getting some portraits done at a local bookstore, Caveat Emptor Bookstore, was such a great idea. This bookstore’s been around since 1971, and it made for a great backdrop. After that, we went to a local flower garden to finish up her senior session.
Haley
Haley played club volleyball as well as high school volleyball. She’s such a fun, sweet person. We did her portraits in downtown Bloomington, Clear Creek Trail, and a field of flowers.
David
David is really easy to talk to, so his senior session was a good time. He loves nature, so we did his portraits by Lake Monroe at Amy Weingartner Branigin Peninsula Preserve. Like many of these seniors, David plays a sport. Specifically, David is a soccer player.
